Etihad Etisalat Co., branded as Mobily, is a telecommunications company in Saudi Arabia established in 2004. Mobily launched mobile phone services in 2005, breaking the monopoly of the Saudi Telecom Company. (Later, in 2008, Zain was launched, thereby becoming the country’s third telecom company.)
Emirati telco Etisalat holds a 27.45% stake in the company. The government-owned General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI) holds 11.85%, and the rest is held by other investors and by public shares.
