In 2013, the logo was slightly modified, and a new font was used. This new logo debuted on Minecraft version 1.7.3 (or the 2013 Music Update) on November 13, 2013 and Minecraft Pocket Edition (or PE 0.9.0 Alpha). This logo also made its debut on Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition and Minecraft PlayStation 3 Edition in TU14. Their logo comes in many colors, including green, red and blue, with red being the most used. In 2014, Microsoft acquired Mojang and made them part of what is now called Xbox Game Studios. This logo is still being used in their merchandise.

To commemorate Minecraft's 11th birthday, Mojang unveiled a new logo on May 17, 2020, rebranding as Mojang Studios. This is their first logo without their icon that they had since they were first established in 2009.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9]
“Bold took the task to heart and created a playful and modular brand that really communicates the values of Mojang Studios. A transformation we are very proud of.”
