AMP Energy was released in 2001 initially as part of the Mountain Dew brand. On cans, the Mountain Dew logo was placed underneath the AMP Energy logo.
2008-2012[]

In 2008, the letters in AMP became lowercase, and the word "DRINK" was dropped from the name. Additionally, the Mountain Dew logo was moved towards the bottom of the cans, putting more focus on the amp name.
2012–2015[]
