Japanese variant, used on Tales of a Street Corner (1962)
Mushi Production Co., Ltd. was founded in June 1961 as the animation production division of Osamu Tezuka Productions and was incorporated a year later under that name. In 1973, two years after founder Osamu Tezuka left the company to start Tezuka Productions and following major financial difficulties, the company declared bankruptcy. A revival was founded in 1977 by workers of the original studio.
