Musique Plus started as a television program in 1986 but became its own channel in 1988.

This logo appeared in late 1993 mainly on new advertisements and promos. The 1986 logo continued to be seen on music video names, station idents and some TV show bumpers until it disappeared entirely during the spring of 1994.

In 2008, MusiquePlus stopped mirroring the identity of its English counterpart and introduced a logo of its own, created by Sid Lee, a Montreal-based agency. [1]
