On July 17, 2020, the company announced "Mutual will stop using the Native American imagery associated with its corporate logo. The transition away from the current symbol will begin immediately." The firm also announced it was beginning the process of a new logo. A version of the current logo, minus the Native American chief emblem, was placed on its website in the interim.
