N&B Block was a Japanese brand of construction toys produced by Nintendo, back when it was still a toy-making company, that launched in 1968. They were essentially clones of the more popular Lego toys (which had already been brought to Japan in 1962).
Despite its short-lived production and eventual discontinuation in 1972, the 1992 video game, Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins, featured a level themed after the brand, with its initials even being presented in one section.
