In March 2018, NBC News announced a digital redesign, with complete overhauls of NBCNews.com, MSNBC.com and TODAY.com. The new websites were rolled out later that year.[1]

On June 19, 2023, NBC News unveiled an updated logo using the proprietary NBC Tinker typeface. It was initially only featured within the animated on-screen bug for NBC Nightly News, which debuted an updated logo and graphics package on that date. The logo has since been gradually rolled out to other NBC News properties: Today began using it on July 31 (with the rollout of its own updated graphics package), followed by NBC-televised special reports on August 11, 2023. NBC News' digital and social media platforms began using it in November 2023.
