Around 1982, NBC News Update became NBC News Capsule.

Around the 1983 midseaon, NBC News Capsule became NBC News Digest. This is their first variation of their Rotating Globe graphics. The globe, however, was rotating the opposite direction.

1984–1985

Around early 1984, the NBC News programs intros were refreshed with the globe rotating the right way.

Sometime in late 1988; the NBC News Digest was renamed NBC News at this Hour and no longer used a separate slide logo.
