NDTV MetroNation was a TV channel, launched in 2006, covering metropolitan news and variety events from New Delhi and the National Capital Region of India. It shut down in 2011.
A similar channel, NDTV Hindu, was launched in 2009 focusing on the southern city of Chennai, as a joint venture with Chennai-based national English newspaper The Hindu. Plans to launch similar city-based channels in other Indian cities under the MetroNation brand were scrapped thereafter.
