NHK Educational TV (NHK教育テレビジョン ) shortly known as NHK E is a one of the two public television channels founded and lanched on January 10, 1959 by NHK as its second channel. Along with 41 Japanese local stations, the main station of the country is JOAB-DTV located in Tokyo, Kantō, with seven regional main stations.
