NTVIC (short for Nippon Television International Corporation) was founded in 1986 as the North American subsidiary of Nippon Television. From 1990 to 1992, they also published games for the Nintendo Entertainment System, Super Nintendo Entertainment System, and Game Boy. This logo is based on the Nippon Television logo used from 1953-1978.
In September 2004, the logo was updated to match the look of the Nippon Television logo that began use in 2003. In February 2014, Nandarou was removed from the logo.
In December 2014, the logo was updated to match the look of the Nippon Television logo that began use in 2013.
