Nankai Broadcasting is a regional broadcasting company based in Matsuyama, Ehime Prefecture, Japan. Its radio station, JOAF is affiliated with the Japan Radio Network & the National Radio Network and its television station, JOAF-DTV is affiliated with the Nippon News Network and Nippon Television Network System.
1953–1964[]
In 1953, Radio Nankai Broadcasting launched as the 21st commercial radio station in Japan. Two years later, the broadcaster applied for its television license and Nankai Broadcasting Television launched on December 1, 1958 as an affiliate of Nippon Television.

RNB changed its logo on October 1, 1964 to mark the then-upcoming arrival of color broadcasts to RNB's television branch as well as to unify both RNB's TV and radio divisions under a single name. Despite the logo being dropped by 2003, it continues to be used on the television station's closedown ident. RNB TV would later join NTV's NNN and NNS networks in 1966 and 1972 respectively.

In time for the broadcaster's 50th anniversary, a new logo was introduced on October 1, 2003. However, the logo wouldn't be used on the television station's startup sequence until 2006, when RNB TV launched its digital broadcasts.
