In 1962, the TV network of National Educational Television and Radio Center became simply referred to as National Educational Television (NET). Short-lived interim network ID, as seen on NET Playhouse.

1968–1970

With the advent of color, NET updated its rooftop signature with tri-colored letters. N was colored into red, E into yellow, while T detaching with a shape of the roof on house with an antenna in blue.

1969–1973

NET 1970

By 1973, NET was defunct, being absorbed by WNET.
