Ncell, also known as Ncell Axiata, is the largest mobile network operator in Nepal. Together with the state-owned Nepal Telecom it forms a near-duopoly in Nepal, with Smart (formerly Smartcell) having a small share.
Mero Mobile was rebranded to Ncell in 2010, in line with several other subsidiaries of TeliaSonera outside the Nordic and Baltic countries, namely Azercell, Geocell, Kcell, Moldcell, Tcell and Ucell. All of these have been divested by Telia Company in 2018–2019, with the exception of Moldcell.
With the acquisition of Ncell by Axiata, it introduced a new logo in April 2016 with the Axiata logo.
