In 1986, the London & South Eastern sector of British Rail was renamed Network South East.
Preparing for privatisation
In 1994, Network SouthEast was split into eleven separate companies which would later be franchised to private companies. Below are the logos used for the initial eleven companies.
The Waterloo & City Line was directly transferred to London Underground control at the time of the creation of the above companies.
