The New Jersey Generals was brought back to compete the second incarnation of the United States Football League in 2022. Following the merger of the USFL and the XFL to form the United Football League in 2024, the New Jersey Generals, along with the Pittsburgh Maulers, the Philadelphia Stars, and the New Orleans Breakers would be folded.
