News18 Urdu is an Indian television news channel that broadcasts in Urdu and is owned by Network18. It was launched on 15 August 2001 by the ETV Network as ETV Urdu. On 16 March 2018, ETV Urdu was rebranded as News18 Urdu. Another Urdu news channel in India is Zee Salaam, which broadcasts in both Urdu and Hindi.
