News Live is the first 24-hour news channel in the northeastern Indian language of Assamese. It was launched on 21 January 2008 by the Assamese media group Pride East Entertainments, which has launched several other channels since, including Northeast Live, an English news channel.
Other Assamese news channels include Prag News, DY 365, Pratidin Time, Assam Talks and News18 Assam/Northeast.
