In March 2017, One World Sports quietly ceased operations amid financial difficulties involving parent company One Media Corporation, which sold "certain distribution assets" of the network to international broadcaster Eleven Sports; on March 16 of that year, One World Sports was effectively replaced by a U.S. version of Eleven Sports.
