Nickelodeon is the Hungarian version of the television channel with the same name, owned by Paramount International Networks.

Nickelodeon (1984)

Nickelodeon was originally launched as a short block on August 1, 1998 on the youth entertainment channel MSat. On April 25, 1999, it had expanded to 12 hours, starting at 7AM. After MSat closed on October 5, 1999, the block was so successful that MTV Networks Europe decided to make a 12-hour channel out of the block. Nickelodeon Hungary was launched on October 6, 1999 in the place of M-Sat. It aired the feed of Nickelodeon Russia from 2002 to 2010, when Nickelodeon Hungary could run without a feed again.
