TCN-9 Sydney

TCN-9 Sydney began transmission on 16 September 1956, becoming the very first television station in Australia to commence regular transmissions after limited experimental broadcasts by various stations in various formats between 1928 and 1948. The callsign stood for Television Corporation New South Wales.
