In 1946, former manager Saburo Yokozawa revived the Tokyo Senators. Even said name lasted for a season, It was revived as the team that would become the current Hokkaido Nippon Ham Fighters.

Tsubasa[]

In 1940, with the outlawing of foreign names, The Senators were renamed "Tsubasa", which in Japanese means "Wings". However, during midseason, Tsubasa merged with Nagoya Kinko to form Taiyō Baseball Club.

Nishitetsu Baseball Club[]

The Nishitetsu Baseball Club was dissolved before the 1943 season. However, Nishi-Nippon Railroad would gain another franchise, the Nishitetsu Clippers (the current Saitama Seibu Lions).
