Nissan is a Japanese car manufacturer and the flagship marque of the Nissan Motor Company, which also owns the Infiniti and Datsun marques. It has belonged to the Renault–Nissan–Mitsubishi Alliance since 1999 (until 2017 it was known as the Renault–Nissan Alliance).

This Nissan badge was officially debuted on January 8, 2001 at the North American International Auto Show. It was first previewed on the Nissan Alpha-T Concept and Nissan Z Concept. It is now the most familiar Nissan logo all the time.

2020–present

The new badge was officially debuted on July 15, 2020 with the launch of the Nissan Ariya and Nissan Magnite. It was previewed earlier on the Nissan Ariya Concept, which was unveiled on October 23, 2019 at the Tokyo Motor Show.
