Started as a vocal project by the Double A Music production team, performed by Italo-German singer Stefania Montesano. The project was initially named Planet Violet until the release of "In My Dreams" on 16 January 2002.[1]

In 2003, further singles and a planned album "Red" were cancelled, when Jive Records closed their dance division. Stefania left the project, while the producers continued to use the name for their remixes.
Since 2010, Stefania uses the name for her solo releases and stage appearances.[2]
