Nokia is a Finnish telecommunications company and equipment manufacturer that was the world’s largest manufacturer of mobile phones until the late 2000s.

In 2014, Nokia’s mobile phone business was acquired by Microsoft and renamed to Microsoft Mobile. In 2016, HMD Global, another Finnish company, acquired the worldwide rights to use the Nokia brand on smartphones.

Although Nokia introduced a new company logo in February 2023, this logo will continue to be used on Nokia's licensed products, such as mobile phones being manufactured by HMD and smart TVs sold in Europe by StreamView.
