In an effort to improve on the airline's image, a new look was revealed in late 1983. It was created by GSM Design in Montreal. The new look was mostly blue, and the logo contained the northeastern quarter of a compass rose.[1]
Canadian Pacific Air Lines purchased Nordair in 1986, and from 1987 it became a part of Canadian Airlines.
