Norte Noticias is the newscast from Telenorte, a local TV channel (current online channel) from the Chilean north, which began in 1977.

Norte Noticias changed its name to "Noticiero Telenorte" to be in line with the Teletrece/newscast naming scheme of Canal 13 (Telenorte's big pattern back then). More specifically, they followed the scheme used when naming Teletrece Concepción (back then, Telecinco).
Hora de Noticias[]
1986-1993[]
Then, in 1986, the Noticiero Telenorte name was dropped in favor of "Hora de Noticias".
UCN Noticias[]
1993-1995[]
Then once more, in 1993, it was renamed to UCN Noticias, taking advantage of the rebranding of the channel's owner from Universidad del Norte to Universidad Católica del Norte.
Norte Noticias (second era)[]
1995[]
Finally, in 1995, the newscast returns to its original name, Norte Noticias, after Telenorte became fully controlled by Radio Chilena.
1995-1996[]
1996-1997[]
1997-2001[]
Norte Noticias closed in 2001, alongside Telenorte's first phase.
2019 (relaunch)[]
On March 1, 2019, Norte Noticias was relaunched, coinciding with Telenorte's return via streaming platforms. Now it is a weekly program of approximately 15 minutes with a summary of the weekly news, instead of a "classic" newscast similar to the ones on Chilean TV (that is, dedicated blocks with up-to-date information that have a duration of, at least, 1 full hour).
