OCN Movies is a South Korean comprehensive pay-TV channel owned by CJ ENM, it is a sister channel of OCN and airs mostly Korean films alongside other Hollywood films and series.

HBS[]

1995–2000[]

The channel was launched on March 1st, 1995 as 'Hyundai Broadcasting System', an entertainment channel owned by the Hyundai Group. It was sold to Next Media Group in 1999 due to financial issues and stagnating ratings.

NTV[]

2000–2002[]

On March 13, 2000, HBS rebranded to NTV as an entertainment information channel, though in 2001, it was sold to CJ Media and changed its format as a movie channel.

Home CGV[]

On July 29th, 2002, NTV was rebranded to Home CGV, originally airing older, B-grade movies, contrary to its rival channel, OCN which became consistent in offering new films in its line-up.

2002–2003[]

2003–2005[]

In 2003, the logo was changed, with a hand-written 'Home' on top of the CGV text.

Channel CGV[]

Under new management, Home CGV was rebranded to Channel CGV, becoming much more consistent airing the latest Korean and Hollywood movies.

2005–2009[]

2009–2020[]

In August 2009, the channel's logo is now integrated with the movie theatre, CGV and repositions itself as a blockbuster movie channel.

OCN Movies[]

2020–present[]

On March 1st, 2020, Channel CGV was rebranded to OCN Movies, streamlining OCN's offering with its main channel and its other sister channel, OCN Thrills (now OCN Movies 2).
