OTV was launched on May 9, 2001 (even though it was supposed to launch a few months prior). Due to complications with CNA, it was temporarily removed from cable operators on the day of its launch. It was closed on September 12, 2002 due to various political claims, but was later relaunched on April 5, 2004.
OTV was unexpectedly relaunched on November 29, 2025, reusing the initial 2001 logo.

A launch was expected on February 20, 2025.[1] While the channel didn't get to start broadcasting, its signature program Dan Diaconescu Direct started airing again, albeit on Canal 33. Additionally, the OTV brand started being used on a TikTok-esque social media platform, which was closed in March. The relaunch did take place 9 months later, but it did not use this logo.
