Office Club was a regional chain of membership-only office supply stores. Its first location opened in Concord, California on January 21, 1987. Office Depot, who had yet to expand to the West Coast, expressed interest in acquiring the chain in 1990, with the merger occurring in April 1991. The Office Club name would continue to be used until May 4, 1992, when all locations were rebranded to Office Depot.
