On June 1, 2012, Dolce Sport channels had undergone a major rebranding, with Dolce Sport being renamed to Dolce Sport 1.
An HD feed was launched on November 25, 2014, following the closure of Dolce Sport HD.

On September 12, 2017, Dolce Sport 1 became Telekom Sport 1.
On July 21, 2021, Orange Romania bought the Telekom Sport channels from Telekom Romania.[1]

On March 4, 2022, an on-screen bug using the Orange Sport 1 name was leaked on Softpedia's forum. The channel was launched on March 28, 2022 replacing Telekom Sport 1.
On March 29, 2024, it was announced that Orange Sport's channels will cease broadcasting on June 30 of that year.[2] The date was later moved to July 1.
