G-Next Media Private Limited, branded as the PTC Network, is the world's largest Punjabi-language TV broadcaster. It operates Punjabi TV channels throughout the world. Since Zee Punjabi and Zee ETC Punjabi ceased broadcasting in the mid-2010s (Zee Punjabi was converted to an all-news channel), the PTC Network enjoys a near-monopoly as far as Punjabi general entertainment channels are concerned1, and the big Indian TV networks (such as Star and Viacom18) have not entered Punjab.
The PTC network launched three new channels on 15 February 2019.[1]

- Though PTC Punjabi has been the only Punjabi entertainment channel for many years, the PTC Network faces competition with other Punjabi music channels (e.g., MH One and 9X Tashan), news channels (e.g., Zee Punjab/Haryana/Himachal and News18 Punjab/Haryana/Himachal) and movie channels (Pitaara). Since 2018, the ITV Network has been increasingly active in Punjab, with India News Punjab, PTunes and PPlus.
