A ninja star-like triangle was the company's corporate symbol, and was seen on parts like speaker drivers and internals. Matsushita launched its Panasonic line of audio equipment in the United States in 1955.

On October 1, 2008, Matsushita was renamed Panasonic Corporation, officially phasing out both the Matsushita and National names and the Matsushita "ninja star" triangle symbol in the process. In April 2022, Panasonic Corporation would reorganize into Panasonic Holdings Corporation, with its divisions becoming direct subsidiaries. The former Panasonic Lifestyle Updates Business Division would be given the "Panasonic Corporation" name.
