A new animated logo was unveiled in September 19, 2019. Its most characteristic feature is a character nicknamed Star Skipper. Little is known about her, except that she can be seen in the Paramount mountain surrounded by a forest, where she skips a stone pebble, transforming it into a star. This logo was first used in The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run, released in Canadian Theaters on August 14, 2020, then on international markets via Netflix on November 5 the same year, and on Paramount+ in March 4 the following year.
2022–2025[]
Following ViacomCBS' rebranding as Paramount Global in 2022, Paramount Animation would have its byline was removed from the logo in the same manner as its parent company Paramount Pictures. The bylineless version of this logo was first seen in Under the Boardwalk.
2025–present[]
The logo began to serve as a transition from the standard 2011 Paramount Pictures logo a la Paramount Players via a flare effect, with the Star Skipper portion being quietly retired. The animation is also slightly modified to make this transition seamless, with the animation and alignment of the stars being closer to the 2011 Paramount Pictures logo and the "Paramount" script being slightly smaller and moved up, which now shines as it zooms out to its usual position. The logo debuted in Smurfs.
