2018-2023[]
Paravi was an on-demand service with programming from TBS Television and TV Tokyo that launched on April 1, 2018. Between 2018 and 2021, the service also provided programming from WOWOW.
On February 17, 2023, Premium Platform Japan (which owns Paravi and jointly operated by Tokyo Broadcasting System, TV Tokyo, Nikkei, Dentsu, and Hakuhodo) announced that it would merge Paravi with U-Next on March 31, 2023, with the latter being the surviving company.[1] Programming offered by Paravi would be moved to U-Next by June 30, 2023.
2023-present[]
Since July 2023, this logo variant with the U-Next branding is currently used in trailer end boards (on its social media pages) for TBS programming, and on the respective TV program pages of TBS and TV Tokyo. This logo variant isn't used on the Paravi section of the U-Next on-demand service.
