Kuťáci[]
1976[]

Until 1989, the series did not receive a proper name for the two characters. The pilot episode Kuťáci directed by Lubomír Beneš, was released by Krátký Film and Jiří Trnka Studio on August 12, 1976.
...a je to![]
1979–1985[]

The series was picked up by ČST Bratislava's children's section, where it was named ...a je to! in 1979, with Tapety being the first episode of that series.
Pat & Mat[]
1989–1990[]

The series received a proper title alongside for the characters in 1989.
1992–1994[]

This is the first and last season produced by Lubomír Beneš and Vladimir Jiranek's "aiF Studio".
1997[]

Used only for the episode, "Playing Cards.", which wasn't released nor distributed due to a dispute between "aiF Studio" and the heirs over the copyright to the characters, the studio declaring bankruptcy in 1999 and its liquidation in 2012.
2002–2004[]

In 2000, Marek Beneš, heir to one of the original creators, Lubomír Beneš, founded the animation studio "PatMat s.r.o", where the series was revived in 2002 after 4 years and continued. The first revival season produced by Atéliery Bonton Zlín and PatMat s.r.o was called Pat a Mat, later called 'Pat a Mat se vracejí
