The Philadelphia Stars was founded to compete in the inaugural season of the revived United States Football League, using the logo similar to the original Philadelphia Stars branding from 1983. Following the merger of the USFL and the XFL to form the United Football League in 2024, the Philadelphia Stars, along with the Pittsburgh Maulers, the New Jersey Generals, and the New Orleans Breakers would be folded.
