Piranha Advancements is a team from the futuristic racing video game series WipEout. Piranha made their first appearance in WipEout 2097, but has canonical roots going back to the original Anti-Gravity Racing Championships.

The team name was originally an amalgamation of Pir and Hana; two merging Brazilian companies. The combined entity competed at the AGRC, but didn't participate in the forthcoming F3600 league. They instead relocated to China to manufacture airbrakes for AG Systems and Auricom.

Pirhana[]

The team returned to their native Brazil prior to the F7200 league, developing a more conventional craft for competition. Their name was spelt 'Pirhana' during this period, as a homage to the original teams from which they were formed.
