The Pittsburgh Maulers only competed in one season of the original USFL in 1984.
2022–2023[]
In 2022, the Pittsburgh Maulers was revived to compete in two USFL seasons of 2022 and 2023. Following the merger of the USFL and the XFL to form the United Football League in 2024, the Pittsburgh Maulers, along with the New Orleans Breakers, the Philadelphia Stars, and the New Jersey Generals would be folded.
