The original PlayStation logo was used again for the PlayStation Classic and the 30th anniversary variant of PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5 Pro, PlayStation Portal, and the DualSense 30th anniversary controller.
2008–present[]
This logo was first used in the PlayStation 2 instruction manual, but wasn’t used publicly until 2008, when Sony began to phase out the original colored logo, a process that was eventually completed the following year with the unveiling and eventual release of the slim model of PlayStation 3 and the PlayStation 3 Super Slim. This coincides with the current console wordmark branding scheme introduced with it, seeing eventual use with the PlayStation Vita, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.
