The cinematic intro for this would later be reused for PlayStation Studios in 2020.

Despite the production label's initial discontinuation in 2016, and the opening of PlayStation Productions in 2019, the label would be reused in 2021 for the short animated film Ratchet & Clank: Life of Pie. The "PlayStation Originals" name hasn't been used since.
