In 2019, Rádio Trânsito extended its adult-contemporary format, which previously occupied off-peak hours, to most of the broadcast day, but still providing comprehensive São Paulo traffic coverage.

The station relaunched as Play FM on July 31, 2020, retaining its AC format; however with an increased focus on songs by popular artists (especially Brazilian ones) from the 1980s to the 2000s.
