In 1998, plans to bring the Pokémon brand to the international market were planned and announced, the tagline was originally going to be "Catch 'em if you can!".
1998–present[]
Later during 1998, the logo was finalized and the tagline was changed to the famous "Gotta Catch 'em All!". This logo has also been used on official Japanese media since 2002.
