On January 10, 2013, a new logo appeared on the thisisstaffordshire.co.uk website, for fans to vote whether to introduce it.[1] The final badge design was unveiled on February 12, 2013 with some alterations from the design seen in January, namely the removal of club motto "for those who have gone before" and the addition of the club's foundation year and a Staffordshire knot symbol.[2]
