While included in the previous logo, Apple would start omitting the Macintosh name from the PowerBook Line starting on the Computers themselves in 1994, then in codenames starting in 1998, and would completely omit the Macintosh name from the boxes starting with the "Pismo" PowerBook G3 Laptop.
2002-2006[]
In 2006, Apple would introduce the MacBook Pro to replace the PowerBook line as a result of Apple's move to Intel Processors from PowerPC Processors.
