Pravah Picture is a Marathi-language movie channel in India from Disney Star, and its second major Marathi channel after the flagship Star Pravah. After Star secured a licence for its launch on 14 October 2021,[1] it was scheduled to be launched on 25 December 2021[2] in both SD and HD feeds. However, on 26 November 2021, this and other changes were indefinitely postponed, due to a delay in the TRAI’s new tariff rules.[3]
In April 2022 it was announced that Pravah Picture would launch on 15 May 2022[4][5] while the Odia channel Star Kiran would launch on 1 June 2022 (later postponed to 6 June). Its competitors include Zee Talkies and Shemaroo MarathiBana.
