Pravda is a Russian newspaper which was the official newspaper of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union from 1912 to 1991.

In 1991, publication of the newspaper was banned following the dissolution of the Soviet Union.

1993–2006

The newspaper resumed publication in 1993, adopting a modified version of the 1971 logo. This logo was used until it would officially be reverted back to the 1971 logo in 2006.
