1998 saw the introduction of the brand's crescent moon emblem, an element which has been retained to the present day. The typeface is more or less the same as the previous logo, but it's rendered in bold.

In 2003, the logo was modernised. The box around the logo was removed as well as a new font. The crescent moon was also made slightly less curved, the nose was shrunk, and the 'ti' abbreviation was removed in favour of a single star. A glow effect around the emblem was also added.

Following the purchase of Premier Lodge in July 2004, Whitbread merged the two brands (Premier Lodge and Travel Inn) together in September that year, creating Premier Travel Inn. The crescent moon was also revised at this time, as well as the font being changed to Barmeno.
