In July 2017, prototypes for new Pro TV-related logos were posted on Pro TV's official AskFM account (Pro Cinema's only having minor alignment differences and a different font for "PRO"). A few days later, the final logo was revealed in a CNA meeting, with a colored prototype filed as a trademark.

PRO Cinema (2017)
Designer:  Unknown
Typography:  Filson Pro
Launched:  28 August 2017

Pro Cinema introduced a new logo and look on August 28, 2017, along with the other Pro TV channels. Filson Pro, designed by the French type foundry Mostardesign, is the on-screen typeface. This rebrand was similar to that of Czech sister broadcaster TV Nova’s channels, which took place on February 4, 2017.

Pro Cinema and Pro Gold started testing their HD versions on December 9, 2020 on the Pro TV Plus app, with the official launch on January 7, 2021 on Romanian TV platforms such as Telekom TV and Orange TV.
